 | Randall Van Meggelen: Music Director
Randall, director of Saint Andrew's Conservatory of Music since 2003, has studied music both in his native Canada and the United States. In Canada, Randall studied piano
through the Royal Conservatory of Music in Toronto. He received a B.A. Music and B.A. Sociology from Covenant College, and is currently working towards an M.A. Sacred Music, Choral Emphasis from Concordia University, Wisconsin.
Randall is concurrently Chief Musician at Saint Andrew's Chapel in Sanford, FL., where he directs the Chancel Choir, accompanies the Youth Choir, supervises all music-related programs, and participates in the planning and leading of public worship. He has served as music director in various churches since 1992.
Randall has taught private piano since 1985 and school music instruction for 14 years, including general music appreciation, choral music, and band. He also has a keen interest in theology, having completed several courses towards an M.A. in Theological Studies from Reformed Theological Seminary, and having taught high school Bible in various schools for over 12 years.

 | John Adams: Violin
John Adams is a graduate of McGill University in Montreal, Canada. He studied violin with Ivan Galamian and Dorothy DeLay and viola with Paul Doktor and Rivka Golani-Erdescz. He has been a violinist with a number of Canadian orchestras and principal violist with the Quebec Symphony, the Florida Symphony Orchestra, and the Kansas City Symphony. A lover of chamber music, he played with the Carlo String Quartet at Rollins College, Winter Park, and the Benton String Quartet at the University of Missouri, Kansas City. As
a soloist he has performed many times with the Bach Festival of Winter Park, the Florida Symphony Orchestra, and the Kansas City Symphony as well as with many other orchestras in Canada and the United States.
Always an enthusiastic teacher, he has been viola professor at the Conservatoire de Quebec and instructor at the Music Arts Institute in
Missouri; member of the international faculty of Jeunesses Musicales, and consultant to the Florida Symphony Youth Orchestra and the Kansas City Youth Orchestra. His students have been admitted to such schools as Indiana University and the Curtis Institute, and many play professionally or hold
university positions. |

 | Priscilla Heffield: Piano
Priscilla Heffield received her B.A. in Piano Pedagogy from Bob Jones University, and has been a leader in the music-teaching community since 1973. She has served Central Florida Music Teachers Association, Florida State Music Teachers Association, Orlando Music Club, and the National Federation of Piano Teachers in capacities ranging from committee chair to president. In her studio she trains beginners through adults, and is adept in preparing young musicians to serve God with a lifetime of music ministry. Moving to Central Florida in 1989 with her husband, Pastor Ron Heffield of Northside Alliance Church, and two children, Mrs. Heffield has vigorously led the music program at Northside, successfully home schooled her children through high school, and tutors a number of students in reading, mathematics, and physics, specializing in SAT preparation. |

 | Richard "Dick" Bonenfant: Percussion
Dick has been a professional musician and private educator for over 40 years. He spent 20 years as a U.S. Navy musician, 13 years of which were with the Naval Academy Band in Annapolis. Well versed in concert bands, marching bands and Jazz bands, he became an educator for the Armed Forces School of Music in Norfolk for three years, before retiring from the Navy. Dick then started a career in Las Vegas teaching at the University of Nevada and Nevada School of Arts, where he also received his B.A. degree. He also performed for Siegfried and Roy, C'Magnifique and other shows and performers in Las Vegas. Through his career he has performed with top entertainers such as Danny Thomas, Don Rickles, Regis Filben and George Burns. |

 | J. LaVerne Smith: Voice
J. LaVerne Smith (Verne) has a B.A. degree in Organ from Tennessee Temple University, Chattanooga, TN and a M.A. degree in Voice from Eastern Michigan University, Ypsilanti, MI. He has done further graduate studies with Robert Shaw at Ohio State University, Columbus, OH. He was a member of the Fort Wayne (IN) Philharmonic Chorus for several seasons. He was a Minister of Music for many years, bringing church music programs to a high level of development. He has directed radio and TV music ministries and conducted choral clinics. Verne has taught private voice, organ and piano as a part of his church ministries as well as directing choral groups and ensembles. He produced several sacred recordings and was executive producer of his wife, Jeannie's two piano recordings. Verne and his wife co-own Smith School of Music, Inc. in Clermont, FL.

 | Verlon Eason: Harp
Verlon Eason is a harpist, pianist and vocalist. She received her B.A. degree in Piano/Vocal Music Ed. from the University of South Florida and has taught private piano instruction for over 30 years. She began studying the harp in 1994 and felt it was a true calling from the Lord. Verlon enjoys teaching both harp and piano at Saint
Andrew's Music Conservatory as well as her home studio. She ministers on her therapeutic harp in four area hospitals and received her CMP Certification as a therapeutic harpist in the healing arts. Verlon performs professionally for weddings, receptions,
memorials, banquets/corporate functions, private parties, as well as ministering in churches. Her web address is www.verloneason.com. She has released two harp CD's, "Rest for Your
Soul" and "Gift for the Giver" (the latter a Christmas CD). She feels very blessed to be able to use her talents for God's Glory!

 | Daniel Shearouse: Guitar
Daniel Shearouse a graduate of the School of Music at the University of Central Florida, studying under Dr. Eladio Scharrón towards a Bachelor of Music degree with a specialization in Guitar Performance. Daniel is a leading member of the UCF Guitar Quartet. He has performed in master classes for the likes of Nicholas Goluses, guitar professor at the Eastman School of Music, Remi Boucher, professor at Laval University in Quebec, and David Leisner, professor at the Manhattan School of Music, as well as guitarists Terry Pazmiño of Ecuador and Luis Alfredo-Gavilano of Bolivia.
He has extensive musical experience across a broad array of styles and instruments. He toured Europe with a national wind band, has performed as a
saxophone player in numerous jazz and wind bands, and also plays the trumpet and the piano. Daniel is also a composer and arranger, and has been teaching privately for many years.

 | Barbara Browning: Theory & Piano
Barbara's music career has included teaching and vocal/piano performance while touring the US, Europe, and Asia. She has directed choirs, vocal ensembles, church music programs, and large-scale musical and theatrical productions.
As musical director/performer for the Orlando performance group, Southern Winds Theater, she directed the music of Evening of Lost Songs 1 & 2 and
"Ladies Night Out" at the Disney Institute (1999-2000), and was cabaret pianist in the 1998 production of "Party of One" which received the Lillie Stoates Award for Best Musical Production in 1999.
Barbara instructs piano and theory at St. Andrew's Conservatory and has over 35 weekly private vocal and piano students. Since 1999, she has been
teaching private and group piano, Music Theory, Music Appreciation & Literature at Valencia Community College East and is organist at Grace Covenant Presbyterian Church, Orlando. She has a B.S. and M.A. in Music Education.

 | Terry Yount: Organ
BM, University of Alabama MM, Performer’s Certificate, DMA, Eastman School of Music
Dr. Terry Yount’s recent performances include Rollins College, Central Hebrew Synagogue (New York City), the University of British Columbia’s Early Music Festival, and as harpsichordist in concert with the Bach Festival Society of Winter Park in Bach’s St. John Passion.
Dr. Yount maintains a thriving studio of organists at Rollins College in Winter Park, FL, and teaches organ in the graduate program at the University of Central Florida’s School of Music. Organists from his studio have gone on to graduate study at Indiana University, the University of Kansas, and the Eastman School of Music.
In addition to teaching organ at Rollins College, Yount has recorded a CD, Music at St. Paul’s featured on Minnesota Public Radio’s nationally broadcast Pipe Dreams. He is available as a recitalist, organ consultant, conference speaker, and instrumental ensemble conductor/player as organist or harpsichordist.

 | Marilyn Jones: Voice
Marilyn Jones received a Bachelor’s of Education-Voice degree from Stetson University in 1975. In addition to maintaining a private studio she has over thirty years of vocal performing experience. Marilyn has also had leading roles and directing experience in numerous Musical Theater productions. For nine years Marilyn was a member of the Bel Canto Singers, a vocal ensemble that performs in Central Florida. She currently teaches part time at Stetson University in the Continuing Education Department.

 | Shona McFadyen-Mungall: Cello
Shona McFadyen-Mungall graduated from the Royal Scottish Academy of Music & Drama with subsequent degrees from the University of London, the Royal College of Music in London, and a Masters Degree in Cello Performance from the University of Florida. Having tenures as Principal Cello in orchestras in London, Scotland, Nicaragua, Costa Rica, Ecuador and Florida, Shona enjoys a truly worldwide reputation. She has also performed for such name acts as James Taylor, Natalie Cole, and the Moody Blues as well as making regular appearances at Walt Disney World. Shona is a regular member of The Saint Andrew’s Strings and plays locally with the Orlando Philharmonic Orchestra, the Bach Festival Orchestra, and the Brevard Symphony Orchestra. In addition, Shona is the principal driving force behind Essential Entertainment, a small entertainment company committed to providing high quality music to Central Florida. She is a committed professional with a passion for quality and attention to detail.
